Wilderness Golf League starts it's 2010 season

Bill Wilson number one teeThe Wilderness Golf League met for the first time this season at Park Place Lanes in Salem, NH in preparation of the upcoming golf season at Campbell’s Scottish Highlands Golf Course.

President Bob Trottier opened up the meeting a little after 7:00 PM and we had 17 total players out of 24 show up. We lost three players this year Jim Murphy, Bob Cairns and Bob Sasso. They will be replaced by Dennis Croteau and Jim Zahareas and Rusty Gill.

Paul Comeau will be adding a few of the new rule changes to the league’s rules document that we will send out as soon as possible.

Looks like we tee off at 4:00PM on April 7th weather permitting.
I have a feeling we are in for a drier season than we have been used to the last few years. Expect to see cooler temps this season as well with some hot days in early to mid June, late July and early to mid August.

See you all on the 7th of April and enjoy the season.
