The Oaks Golf Course Hole #10Another season is upon us and this will be my 20th year in the Wilderness Golf  League as I started playing with Tom Hale, Norm Comeau, Alan Imlach and Rick Maloney in 1990. I can’t believe how the time has flown by.  The five of us are the only ones left of the original 24 players that started at Pine Valley Golf Course in Pelham, NH in 1990.

We have seen a lot of players come and go and we certainly hope we get to see a couple of original members that may sub like Mike Linder and Buzz Franzen from time to time. These two guys are great friends and I do hope we get to play together this year. Buzz hits from th ewrong side of the ball and has a unique putitng style and Mike Linder has what we call Eagle eyes. He will spot your ball 100 yards away and tell you it’s sitting next the rock that looks like a bear and the tree that looks like a rock. You can laugh but it’s true he has th ebest eye sight I know of any golfer or human I ever met. Unbelievable. Sometimes you just want to try and lose your ball to see if he can find it. He won’t let you down.
